Hi there!
My name is Shari. I’ve choreographed for music videos, festivals, live performances and showcases. I’ve been teaching for over 6 years at schools, offices and dance studios including Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio Center and Lotus Creations Academy.
My choreography blends Afro Dance, Hip Hop and Street Jazz with performance driven storytelling. I focus on creating movement that feels natural, expressive and intentional. My goal is to help dancers build technical clarity and confidence for stage, camera, and the dance floor.
As much I’ve accomplished, I didn’t start as the dancer who picked up every step easily.
I was the one who needed to see the choreography one more time — maybe three. I’ve been the person who stood in the back of class, feeling behind while everyone else seemed to learn effortlessly.
Those moments shaped me.
They taught me that dance isn’t just about mastering movement — it’s about being seen in the process of learning and giving yourself the time, space, and compassion to grow.
That’s why my approach to choreography and instruction is built around care, patience, and inclusion. I create spaces where dancers can breathe, ask questions, and move at their own pace — without fear of judgment.
In my classes and choreography sessions, the focus isn’t perfection — it’s progress.
